The future's not just digital, now its financially secure, too.

Arnos Vale becomes a sustainable cemetery for the Future, thanks to an HLF Catalyst award of £500k.
The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport announced today that Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust in Brislington, Bristol, has been successful in its application for Heritage Lottery Fund Catalyst Funding.

The Catalyst award will match every £1 raised over the next four years by the Trust for its endowment fund. The Trust’s target is to raise £500,000 of endowment funds over the next four years. With the Catalyst Fund award, the Trust’s endowment fund will increase by £1 million.

Juliette Randall, the Trust’s Chief Executive said:
“The Catalyst award will enable Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust to build a secure sustainable future for the Cemetery. Although the Cemetery was saved by the restoration project, the Trust is now undertaking the hard work of ensuring the Trust has the proper financial bedrock to allow the Cemetery to thrive and be an asset for future generations of Bristolians. The Catalyst award will allow us to achieve this”.
