Book Kernel in the newest

A round up of the press we've received and events we'll be at

Since March 25th, we've been working on bulding our contacts and talking to as many people as possible about Book Kernel.

The pictures above are taken from This is South Wales who were at the In Your Translating Eyes event and wrote it up here.

An article on the contemporary visual arts practice website a-n discussed us in relation to where the digital and the handmade coexist: the article by Catherine Roche asks where publishing is heading, where the material value of the physical object is in the e-book publishing climate, and uses Book Kernel as an example of the future of publishing.

We were featured on BBC News Wales in March and we're now talking to people from the BBC Academy about how we could work together.

Finally our biggest news of all is that we'll be giving a Pecha Kucha presentation at The Guardian's Activate London summit on July 9th about real time publishing, the Book Kernel, and the democratization of literature! There we'll be making another book (!) of the summit and are talking to the great team behind it.

[I have also got a haircut which is evinced in the latest round-up of Books and Print blogs by the REACT team. Always good news.]
