We're excited to announce that our Future Documentary Sandbox projects will be attending this year's Sheffield Doc Fest, where they'll be demonstrating their prototypes and speaking about their projects.

Here's what they're up to:

On Saturday 7th June, you can catch Quipu, JtR125 and Risk Taker's Survival Guide at the Crossover Market. The Crossover Market is the place for digital and interactive funders and mentors to meet the best new projects.

On Sunday 8th June, Jeanie Finlay will be talking about ORION as part of the Fan-Tastic: Documenting Fandom session at the Millennium Gallery. Jeanie will also be speaking about film festival programming and zero budget pitching at other sessions at the Fest.

On Monday 9th June at 10.30am, Quipu will be demonstrating their interactive documentary, a collective string of oral histories that can be experienced regardless of access to digital connection, live at the Millennium Gallery.

At 15.30 on Tuesday 10th June, Matt Golding of Risk Taker's Survival Guide is one of five projects invited to take part in Ramillas Sheffield Interactive Fund Pitch. Ramilas are an angel investor seeking to co-finance and co-produce original interactive documentaries.

Later on Tuesday evening at 6pm, REACT are hosting drinks at Piccolino. It's a chance to come and learn about the projects and meet the teams.

If you're at Sheffield Doc Fest, be sure to make time to check out these amazing projects.

Full programme and registration details can be found on the Sheffield Doc Fest website.
